PRECIOUS METAL CLAD CONNECTOR PIN WIRE

Anomet Products, a leader in clad wire technology, has applied this technology to meet both current and future design needs of the electronic connector pin industry. Connector materials engineers are already familiar with selectively clad strip materials; Anomet has utilized similar processing techniques in producing a composite wire. The metals which make up the composite are metallurgically bonded, yielding a wire consisting of several metals which mechanically behave as one. This allows the wire to be shaped and formed without spalling or disbondment. As only wrought metals are used as starting materials, wire of uniform high density is produced.
